About Frontier Strategies

Frontier Strategies is a consulting practice focused on strengthening institutions that serve the public through research-driven strategy, policy insight, and practical implementation.

Founded by Matt Brenchley, the firm draws on experience across state government, legislative affairs, intergovernmental policy, and political strategy. Matt has advised executive-branch leadership on policy development and the political landscape, supported elected officials through legislative research and analysis, and partnered with community-based organizations delivering services on the ground.

His professional background spans policy analysis, legislative strategy, stakeholder engagement, public administration, strategic planning, and political operations. This experience has provided a deep understanding of how public institutions operate in complex, high-stakes environments, and how thoughtful strategy can help leaders navigate constraints while still making progress.

Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Sociology, from the University of Oklahoma and earned a Certificate in Public Sector Leadership from Cornell University in 2020. In 2021, he was recognized with the IonOklahoma NextGen Under 30 Award for his contributions to public service and policy.
